Launched on April 1, 2021, the XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade is the slim‑heatsink variant of XPG’s GAMMIX S70 PCIe Gen4 NVMe family. The 1TB SKU uses the Innogrit IG5236 controller and 3D NAND, is rated up to 7,400 MB/s read and 5,500 MB/s write, and carries a 740 TBW endurance rating in the M.2 2280 form factor.

Positioned as a high_end Gen4 SSD, it exists to deliver top‑tier Gen4 speed in tight spaces where tall heatsinks won’t fit—motherboard shields, laptops, and the PS5 slot. With a DRAM cache and solid sustained writes, it’s well‑suited as a fast boot drive, a sizable game library, PS5 expansion, and a 4K video‑editing scratch disk. A low‑profile aluminum heatsink is included.
