Source policy
Hardware data is only useful when readers can understand where it came from and which source should win when records disagree.
Primary technical sources
Manufacturer product pages, official specification databases such as Intel ARK, AMD product pages, model-specific manuals, support documents, and vendor spec sheets are the preferred evidence for technical characteristics and compatibility limits.
Retailer and listing data
Retailer listings can supply exact listing identifiers, images, price, availability, seller context, and product variants. Most purchase links currently point to Amazon US. Retailer copy is useful but can be incomplete or applied to several variants, so it should not overrule clearer model-specific manufacturer documentation.
Editorial references
Product summaries may include direct source links for release dates, lifecycle notes, or other claims that benefit from visible evidence. An “Official product specifications” link identifies the product maker's page when that URL is available in the catalog.
What GixCore does not do
- It does not invent customer ratings or copy reviews into structured data.
- It does not treat a retailer's live price or stock state as permanent.
- It does not present a formula estimate as a measured application benchmark.
- It does not guarantee a BIOS revision, physical clearance, seller, or warranty for a buyer's exact unit.
Submit a correction
Include the GixCore product URL, the field that appears wrong, and the strongest supporting source available. Official product pages and spec sheets make corrections easier to verify. Use the feedback control on a catalog page or the contact options on the Questions & Answers page.
