Samsung’s 980 PRO 2TB (MZ‑V8P2T0B) belongs to Samsung’s first consumer PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD family introduced in 2020; the 2TB capacity was added in January 2021. It’s an M.2 2280 Gen4 x4 TLC drive with a DRAM cache, rated up to 7,000 MB/s read and 5,100 MB/s write, and 1,200 TBW endurance.
