NZXT released the C850 Gold ATX 3.1 in late August 2024 as part of the C Series Gold ATX 3.1 lineup, bringing native 12V‑2x6 support and ATX12V v3.1 compliance to its mainstream Gold family. It’s an 850 W, fully modular ATX unit with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, Zero‑RPM fan mode, and a 10‑year warranty.
On the PSU tier scale, it’s a high_end model: a Gold, fully modular supply built to power a single high‑end GPU/CPU system without needless wattage overhead. It’s well‑suited for high‑end GPU builds that need ATX 3.1 readiness, headroom for transient spikes, and tidy cabling in standard ATX cases. Unique note: it includes a native 12V‑2x6 cable rated to deliver up to 600 W to PCIe 5.0 GPUs. Not discontinued as of October 2026.
