Intel’s Core i7-13700K is a 13th‑Gen “Raptor Lake” desktop CPU announced Sept. 27, 2022 and available Oct. 20, 2022. It combines 16 cores (8P+8E) and 24 threads with boost clocks up to 5.4 GHz. It targets the LGA1700 platform on 600- and 700‑series motherboards, includes Intel UHD Graphics 770, and supports PCIe 5.0/4.0. As of July 2026, it is not discontinued.

Positioned in the high_end i7 tier, it exists to deliver strong gaming and creator performance below i9 pricing. It’s well‑suited for 1440p gaming, streaming, video editing, 3D rendering, and fast office/productivity work. Unique: the K‑suffix brings an unlocked multiplier for overclocking.
