In AMD’s stack it’s an enthusiast-class chip designed to bring high‑core‑count productivity to the mainstream AM4 platform alongside strong gaming.

It excels at 1440p gaming, streaming, video editing, and 3D rendering, supports DDR4‑3200, and enables PCIe 4.0 when paired with an X570 motherboard. The multiplier is unlocked for overclocking, and there’s no integrated graphics, so a discrete GPU is required. Unique note: the retail box includes AMD’s Wraith Prism RGB cooler.
