Released February 9, 2024, the MAG B550 Tomahawk MAX WiFi is MSI’s late‑cycle AM4 B550 board in the MAG (Arsenal Gaming) family for Ryzen 3000/4000G/5000 processors. It’s an ATX design with four DDR4 slots (up to 128 GB), two M.2 (CPU PCIe 4.0 x4 + chipset PCIe 3.0), six SATA, and iGPU outputs via HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4. Connectivity includes AMD Wi‑Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.2, 2.5 GbE, and USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑A/C.

Positioned as a mainstream B‑series option, it exists to give AM4 builders modern I/O without moving platforms. Best for expansion/multi‑M.2, high‑speed memory, and first‑time builders. Unique: the “MAX WiFi” refresh adds onboard Wi‑Fi 6E versus the original B550 Tomahawk.
