Released on September 9, 2021, the ROG Strix B550‑F Gaming WiFi II is ASUS’s refreshed AM4 B550 board for Ryzen 3000/5000 CPUs and 4000/5000 G‑Series APUs. In the mainstream B‑series tier, it exists to deliver a balanced feature set—PCIe 4.0 to the primary x16 and one M.2 slot, dual M.2, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, and onboard Wi‑Fi 6E—without X‑series pricing. It’s well‑suited to expansion/multi‑M.2 storage builds, high‑speed DDR4 across four DIMMs (up to 128 GB), and straightforward ATX systems that first‑time builders can assemble confidently. Notable versus the original B550‑F: Wi‑Fi 6E and HDMI 2.1 display output. As of July 2026 it is not discontinued and continues to receive BIOS updates.
