Positioned as a mainstream Gen4 drive, it exists to deliver affordable Gen4 load times without the cost of onboard DRAM or a bundled heatsink. It’s well suited as a Windows/Linux boot drive and a fast game library upgrade for modern desktops and laptops. Endurance is 600 TBW with a 5‑year warranty. The controller is DRAM‑less but uses Host Memory Buffer (HMB); everyday use is responsive, though long, sustained writes are better handled by higher‑end Gen4 models.
