KIOXIA EXCERIA PLUS G4 2TB

Announced on December 16, 2024, the KIOXIA EXCERIA PLUS G4 is a Gen5 NVMe SSD in Kioxia’s EXCERIA lineup. The 2TB model is a single‑sided M.2 2280 drive on PCIe 5.0 x4 with NVMe 2.0c, rated up to 10,000 MB/s reads and 8,200 MB/s writes, and 1,200 TBW endurance using BiCS FLASH TLC NAND.

Positioned as a flagship client drive, it exists to bring Gen5 throughput to common 1–2TB builds without special cooling. It’s well‑suited as a fast boot drive, a large game library, and a video‑editing scratch disk. The design is DRAM‑less with Host Memory Buffer, favoring low power draw for desktops and laptops. Not discontinued as of October 19, 2026.
