Thermaltake’s TR2 430W (model W0070RU-04) is an early TR2‑series ATX12V v2.x unit that was on the market by April 4, 2005; contemporary reviews also refer to it as the TR2‑430W/Purepower 430W NP (W0070). It uses a non‑modular cable set and a dual‑80 mm fan layout, typical of mid‑2000s designs. It has since been discontinued. Positioned in the budget tier, it existed to power entry‑level ATX desktops at low cost. It’s suitable for budget builds and older GPUs that only need a single 6‑pin PCIe lead, but it predates ATX 3.0/3.1 and offers no native 12VHPWR, so it isn’t meant for modern high‑end GPU builds.
