Budget B650 mATX AM5 board with DDR5, dual PCIe 4.0 M.2, Wi‑Fi 6E and 2.5G LAN; launched October 11, 2022.
MSI’s PRO B650M-A WiFi arrived on October 11, 2022 as part of the first wave of AMD B650 AM5 boards for Ryzen 7000, and it now supports Ryzen 8000/9000 via BIOS. It’s a budget B650 micro‑ATX board aimed at delivering essential AM5 features at a low cost for mainstream builds. It suits compact mid‑towers: AM5 socket, four DDR5 DIMM slots, two PCIe‑4.0 M.2 NVMe slots, and three PCIe slots (two x16‑length). Connectivity is strong for the class, with onboard Wi‑Fi 6E, 2.5G LAN, and a decent mix of USB 3.2 ports. Good for budget AM5/LGA1700 builds, multi‑M.2 expansion, and first‑time builders. Unique: the Wi‑Fi module comes pre‑installed in an M.2 Key‑E slot. Not discontinued as of October 2026.
