Cooler Master introduced the MasterBox NR400 in the MasterBox NR series alongside the NR600, announced on March 19, 2019 with retail availability following that spring. It’s a budget micro‑ATX mini‑tower aimed at clean, mesh‑front airflow and practical storage in a compact footprint—an option for builders who still want an ODD and plenty of drive bays without paying for extras they don’t need.

It fits Micro‑ATX and Mini‑ITX boards, supports GPUs up to 346 mm and air coolers up to 166 mm, and takes a standard bottom‑mounted ATX PSU. Cooling is flexible: front radiators up to 280 mm plus 120 mm mounts at the top and rear, with a tempered‑glass side panel. Storage and I/O are generous for the size: 1×5.25", 4×3.5", 4×2.5", and 2× USB 3.2 Gen1 Type‑A with a 3.5 mm headset jack. A standout in modern cases: it retains a 5.25‑inch optical bay.
