Product overview

Released on May 10, 2022, the PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 6950 XT is a late‑cycle RDNA 2 (Radeon RX 6000) refresh, pairing 5,120 stream processors with 16GB GDDR6 on a 256‑bit bus.

It sits in the flagship tier: a final high‑end raster card meant to push 1440p high‑refresh and credible 4K play before RDNA 3. It’s well‑suited for 4K or max‑settings 1440p gaming with FSR upscaling, modest ray‑traced workloads, and content creation. The card draws about 335 W and uses triple 8‑pin PCIe power; PowerColor recommends a 950 W PSU, so plan for robust cooling and cabling. Discontinued status is unconfirmed.
