Product overview

Launched on November 18, 2020 as part of AMD’s RDNA 2–based Radeon RX 6000 family, ASUS’s TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6800 XT OC pairs a 16GB GDDR6, 256‑bit memory subsystem with factory OC clocks. It sits in the enthusiast tier, aimed at high‑end 1440p and capable 4K gaming without moving to a next‑gen connector standard.

It’s well‑suited for 1440p and many 4K titles, with hardware‑accelerated ray tracing and support for AMD FSR/RSR upscaling. Typical board power is 300 W; power is supplied via 2× 8‑pin PCIe connectors, and ASUS recommends a 750 W PSU.
