Compact, quiet mATX Define Mini C (Window) from 2016 with acrylic window, 315 mm GPU and 240/280 mm radiator support; now discontinued.
Fractal Design’s Define Mini C – Window launched in November 2016 as the micro‑ATX member of the compact Define C/Mini C family within the Define series. It targeted builders who wanted Define‑style acoustics and clean styling in a smaller footprint with a clear side window. The Window variant is now discontinued.
Positioned as a mainstream mini‑tower, it exists to deliver a quiet, compact mATX platform without sacrificing key fit: Micro‑ATX/ITX boards, GPUs up to 315 mm, and air coolers up to 168 mm. Cooling is flexible with front 240/280 mm and top 240 mm radiator mounts (top requires ~40 mm motherboard‑component clearance). It uses an ATX PSU (up to ~175 mm), offers up to five drives, and employs sound‑dampened steel panels with a ModuVent top cover. Notable: this “Window” version uses a clear acrylic side window rather than tempered glass.
