Positioned in the workstation tier, it exists to deliver reliable, high-capacity bulk storage for 24/7 multi-bay NAS and RAID. It’s well suited to mass storage and large game libraries on a NAS, with sequential transfers up to about 272 MB/s for fast media serving and big file moves. Notable: the 18TB model is helium‑filled. Not discontinued as of July 2026.
