The 3.5-inch drive uses a SATA 6 Gb/s interface, 5400 RPM motor, 256 MB cache, and SMR recording, with a rated 190 MB/s maximum sustained OD read and a 55 TB/year workload limit—well suited to sequential bulk storage rather than frequent heavy writes.
