Positioned as a high_end X‑series option, it exists for builders who want CPU/memory overclocking, plentiful lanes and storage without stepping up to pricier X670E models. It suits standard ATX builds focused on expansion/multi‑M.2 and high‑speed memory: four NVMe M.2 slots (one CPU‑attached PCIe 5.0, three PCIe 4.0), a PCIe 4.0 x16 PEG slot, Wi‑Fi 6E, 2.5GbE, and both rear and front USB‑C 20Gbps. Not discontinued; BIOS/support updates continue through 2026 with Ryzen 9000 enablement. Notable: PCIe 5.0 is limited to the primary M.2 slot; the graphics slot remains Gen4.
