Product overview

Released February 25, 2021 as part of NVIDIA’s Ampere-based GeForce RTX 30 family, GIGABYTE’s GeForce RTX 3060 Vision OC 12G (Rev. 2.0) is a factory‑overclocked AIB model with 12GB GDDR6 on a 192‑bit bus. The card uses a dual‑slot, triple‑fan cooler (280 × 116 × 41 mm), draws up to ~170 W, and needs a single 8‑pin PCIe lead; GIGABYTE recommends a 550 W PSU. Outputs are 2× HDMI 2.1 and 2× DisplayPort 1.4a. Rev. 2.0 is the Limited Hash Rate version.Sourcenvidia.com

Positioned in the budget tier, it exists to deliver strong 1080p performance with room for 1440p when paired with DLSS and moderate ray tracing. The large 12GB VRAM also helps with creator workloads like timeline scrubbing and higher‑resolution textures in 3D apps.Sourcegigabyte.com
