It has 6 cores/12 threads on 14 nm, a 2.6 GHz base and up to 4.4 GHz boost, 12 MB L3 cache, and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 730. It fits LGA1200 motherboards, supports DDR4‑3200, and exposes PCIe 4.0 with up to 20 lanes. It is now discontinued.

Positioned as a mainstream i5, it exists to deliver competent gaming and productivity in affordable builds without stepping up to a K‑series chip. It’s well‑suited for 1080p gaming (with a discrete GPU), streaming, light video editing via Quick Sync, and everyday office/productivity in budget builds. The multiplier is locked.
