Launched alongside AMD’s B650 platform in October 2022, MSI’s MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi targets the AM5 ecosystem and debuted for Ryzen 7000; MSI now lists support for Ryzen 8000 and 9000 CPUs via BIOS updates. It is not discontinued as of September 2026.

Positioned as a mainstream B‑series ATX board, it exists to deliver CPU overclocking and modern I/O without X670 pricing.
