Announced on October 3, 2022 alongside ASUS’s B650/B650E AM5 lineup for Ryzen 7000, the ROG Strix B650E‑F Gaming WiFi is a mainstream B‑series ATX board. It exists to bring PCIe 5.0 for the primary x16 slot and one M.2 drive to mid‑priced AM5 builds without stepping up to X670E.

It’s well‑suited to standard tower rigs that need expansion: three M.2 slots (one PCIe 5.0) plus four SATA, DDR5 across four DIMMs up to 192 GB, Wi‑Fi 6E, Intel 2.5 GbE, and a rear USB‑C 20 Gbps port. Good fit for multi‑NVMe storage, high‑speed memory, and overclocking, with builder‑friendly touches like PCIe Slot Q‑Release and BIOS FlashBack. Not discontinued.
