Released October 17, 2023, the Core i5-14600K joins Intel’s 14th Gen Core desktop family (products formerly Raptor Lake). It uses a 6P+8E, 20‑thread layout with 3.5 GHz P‑core base and up to 5.3 GHz turbo, includes UHD Graphics 770, and 24 MB Smart Cache. It fits LGA1700 and works with 600‑ and 700‑series chipsets (BIOS update may be required), offering PCIe 5.0/4.0 and both DDR4‑3200 and DDR5‑5600 support.

Positioned as a mainstream i5, it exists to power balanced gaming/creator builds without i7 pricing. It’s well‑suited for 1080p gaming, strong 1440p gaming, streaming, and everyday video editing on a widely compatible platform. Unique note: unlocked multiplier. Not discontinued per Intel ARK.
