This Privacy Policy explains how Gixcore (“Gixcore”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and PC builder tool (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Affiliate disclosure. Gixcore is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. When you click a product link on Gixcore and make a purchase on Amazon, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This helps keep the builder free to use.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. If you save PC builds, we store the parts and configurations you select.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring pages. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

2. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and tags to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. Specifically:

Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — to measure traffic, page views, and outbound clicks so we can improve the Service.
Amazon affiliate cookies — when you click through to Amazon, Amazon may set cookies to attribute a qualifying purchase to Gixcore.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features.

3. How we use information

To provide, maintain, and improve the PC builder and related features.
To create and manage your account and saved builds.
To measure usage and the performance of links, including affiliate clicks.

Amazon (affiliate program and product purchases) — see the Amazon Privacy Notice. When you leave Gixcore for Amazon, Amazon’s own policies govern your activity there.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your rights”). Aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be retained.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. International users

Gixcore may process and store information in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer where permitted by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
